but the smell is much too great for me to take

It's not easy when you have to keep God on his toes
Just remember this is not the life that he chose
Satan has his pleasures for when life gets out of hand
And did you know the devil plays in a band
He's not really fond of rock he finds it kind of bland
This may be a shock to you but he's a swingin' man
So when you find yourself in hell don't expect a lot
In spite of all the hype you hear it isn't quite that hot
And satan's not so ornery in fact he's kind of tame
Just don't mention "you know who" or you will burn in flames
